About Course

Bismillah Ar-Rahman Ar-Rahim.

وَعَلَّمَ آدَمَ الْأَسْمَاءَ كُلَّهَا

“And He taught Adam the names — all of them.” — Surah Al-Baqarah 2:31

Artificial Intelligence is not a passing trend — it is already reshaping how your children learn, how you’re hired or denied a loan, what content shapes your family’s daily attention, and what career paths will exist for the next generation.

Most Muslims encounter AI in one of two unhelpful ways: either uncritical enthusiasm with no ethical framework, or reflexive fear with no genuine understanding. This course offers a third path — the one the Golden Age scholars modelled 1,000 years ago: rigorous understanding combined with sincere Islamic ethical grounding.

THIS COURSE TEACHES YOU:

What AI actually is, in plain language, with no unnecessary jargon. A genuine Islamic ethical framework — built on Amanah (trust), Adl (justice), and the prohibition of Zulm (oppression) — applied specifically to data, algorithms, and automated decision-making. How to raise digitally wise children in an AI-saturated world. What halal, meaningful careers exist in this field for the next generation. And, most fundamentally, how the Quranic understanding of Ilm (knowledge) and the human soul should shape how a believer relates to machine “intelligence” that will never possess a soul, a conscience, or genuine understanding.

6 MODULES — FROM UNDERSTANDING TO WISDOM:

  • Module 1: Understanding AI — What It Actually Is
  • Module 2: Amanah in the Age of Algorithms — Data Ethics
  • Module 3: Adl and Zulm — Justice in Automated Decisions
  • Module 4: Raising Digitally Wise Children
  • Module 5: Halal Careers in AI and Data Science
  • Module 6: Ilm, Aql, and the Soul — The Believer’s Relationship with Machine Intelligence

AI and the Muslim Mind: Ethics, Opportunity and Amanah
Understand Artificial Intelligence, navigate its risks, and build a genuinely Islamic ethical framework for the defining technology of our age. Free forever. What is AI, really? How should a Muslim think about data, algorithms, and automated decisions? This course builds a genuine Islamic ethical framework for the AI age — Amanah in data, Adl in algorithms, and practical guidance for families, careers, and the believer's own relationship with technology. 6 modules.

  • 6 MODULES — FROM UNDERSTANDING TO WISDOM:

Module 1 — Understanding AI: What It Actually Is
Plain-language technical literacy — what AI is, how machine learning actually works, and why it's pattern-prediction, not genuine thinking. The essential foundation for every module that follows.

Module 2 — Amanah in the Age of Algorithms: Data Ethics
Data as a sacred trust, not a commodity. The Quranic prohibition of Tajassus (surveillance) applied directly to modern data collection, consent, and practical family privacy protection.

Module 3 — Adl and Zulm: Justice in Automated Decisions
How algorithms can quietly perpetuate injustice at scale — with real documented case studies — and the Islamic framework of Adl applied to hiring, lending, and automated judgment.

Module 4 — Raising Digitally Wise Children
Practical, Islamically-grounded guidance for screen time, AI companion apps, and homework tools — built on awareness before restriction, not fear alone.

Module 5 — Halal Careers in AI and Data Science
Real career pathways across technical, ethics, and policy roles — and a five-question framework for evaluating whether a specific opportunity aligns with Islamic principles.

Module 6 — Ilm, Aql and the Soul: The Believer’s Relationship with Machine Intelligence
What the Quran means by true knowledge, intellect, and the soul — and why no machine can ever replicate them. A grounded, humble theological close to the course.
