Born from a Woman's
Sacrifice & Vision
In 1937, in the village of Tambour, Sitapur โ when women's education in rural India was nearly unheard of โ Mohtarma Sultani Khatoon began Taleem-e-Nisva (Education for Women). She sold her jewellery, gave her wealth, and dedicated every breath of her 90+ years to educating Muslim women.
Her companion Mohtarma Bismillah Khatoon (Mullani Khala) went even further โ she dedicated her own home as a Waqf for the Madrasa Niswa. Together, they educated thousands of girls across Sitapur, Lakhimpur, Moradabad and beyond.
Today, Al Jamiatul Sultania Digital Darul Uloom carries this 87-year legacy into the digital age โ reaching Muslim women across every continent, completely free, in multiple languages.
