Selling is an Act of Service

Stop thinking: “I am asking people to give me money” Start thinking: “I am offering something valuable that will benefit them”

The Prophet ﷺ was himself engaged in trade. He actively promoted the quality of his goods through honest description. Selling ethically is an act of service to your community.

The Sales Mindset for Muslim Women:

• Your product/service HELPS people — you are serving them
• Your income enables you to support your family and community
• Every customer you serve is a form of sadaqah (if done with good intention)
• Make du’a before every customer interaction

Opening Dua for Business:

“Allahumma inni as’aluka rizqan tayyiban wa ‘ilman nafi’an wa ‘amalan mutaqabbalan” “O Allah, I ask You for good provision, beneficial knowledge, and accepted deeds.”
